David Murphy (7-9-13) service 7-11-13

David Ray “Tiny” Murphy, 72, of Savannah, died on Tuesday, July 9, at  Jackson Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, Tenn. 
He was born in Hardin County, the son of the late David Morris and Vannie Richards Murphy.  He was united in marriage to Louise Scott who, survives.
Mr. Murphy worked for Price-Kirby Shell Station and was a self-employed electrician and plumber and retired from Pickwick Landing State Park. He was a member of Olivet Pentecostal Church.
Services were held on Thursday, July 11, at 1 p.m. at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah  with Harrell D. Conaway and Wallace Frazier officiating. Burial followed in the Neill Cemetery at Savannah.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, David Ray Murphy; two daughters, Kathy Moon and Donna Lorine Murphy Thomas, all of Savannah; stepson, Lewis Collins of Savannah; stepdaughter, Teresa Cupples of Selmer; five grandchildren; eight stepgrandchildren; five stepgreat-grandchildren.
