Hugh Laden Nance, 74, of Clifton, died on Thursday, June 20.
He was born in Hardin County, the son of the late Hugh Richard and Esther Borroughs Nance. He was united in marriage to Robbie Jo Tacker, who survives.Â
Mr. Nance enjoyed farming, and was a member of the NRA.
Services were held on Sunday, June 23, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Chad Balentine officiating. Burial followed in the Nance Cemetery at Clifton.
In addition to his wife, Robbie Nance of Clifton, he is survived by a son, Michael Nance of Savannah; a grandchild; sisters, Edna Nance of Clifton, Mary Emma Wilson of Sarasota, Fla., and Betty Bigbie of Demotte, Ind.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Billy Nance.
