Clifford R. Crites, 86, of Savannah died on June 19.
He was born in Santa Clara, Calif., on Nov. 6, 1926, the son of the late Enoch Edward and Nancy Crites.
Mr. Crites served in the United States Army from 1944 to 1946 and was honorably discharged at the end of World War II.
He retired from Louisiana Pacific Lumber Company in Qroville, Calif. He was a Boy Scout troop master in the Santa Clara Boy Scout Council. He attended Living Waters Fellowship of Savannah.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Williams Crites; son, John Crites of Savannah; and daughter, Deborah Williams of Naples, Fla., four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
His six brothers and six sisters preceded him in death.
A celebration of life was held on June 23. No other services are planned.
