Reba Williams

Reba Mayhall Williams was born July 20, 1924, in Pickwick, the daughter of the late Ivy and Myrtle Bryson Mayhall.

She was united in marriage to C.B. Williams on July 19, 1946. Mr. Williams preceded her in death on July 20, 1998.

She was a member of the Lebanon United Methodist Church, Lebanon Quilters and the Michie Senior Citizens.

Mrs. Williams departed this life on Sunday, June 2, in Michie, at the age of 88 years, 10 months, 13 days.

She is survived by two daughters, Hilda Ashe of Michie, Tressa Benson and husband Larry of Corinth, Miss.; two sons, Roger Williams and wife Martha of Selmer, Tim Williams and wife Rhonda of Michie; nine grandchildren, Monica Ashe of Michie, Valerie Harrelson and husband Aaron of Corinth, Miss., Jeni Jamison and husband Carl of Kosouth, Miss., Brandon Wheeler of Kosouth, Miss., Emily Ashe of Huntsville, Texas, Rodney Crowe and Shane Crowe, both of Selmer, Richard Spencer and Joey Spencer, both of Michie; seven great-grandchildren, Ashton Rich, Victoria Taylor, Aliyah Wheeler, Lane Wheeler, Ireland Harrelson, Madeline Harrelson, Machaela Harrelson; a brother, James Mayhall of Slaughter, La.; a sister, Yovonna Clausel and husband Roby of Corinth, Miss.; a sister-in-law, Dorothy Mayhall of Florence, AL.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by a sister, Mattie Ruth Phillips; sister-in-laws, Ella Mae Mayhall and Jaunita Mayhall; two brothers, Sherman Mayhall and J.B. Mayhall; a brother-in-law, Millard Phillips.

Services were held on Wednesday, June 5, at 11 a.m., at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Acton, Tenn., with Steve Webb and George Reed officiating. Burial followed in the Lebanon Cemetery at Michie.
