RD Stricklin

RD Stricklin, 97, of Cleveland, Ohio, went to be with Jesus on Thursday, May 30.

He was born in Savannah on Dec. 30, 1915.

His loving family is saddened by his absence, but rejoicing because he is with Jesus.

He leaves two sisters, Dorothy Frazier of Cleveland, Ohio and Mary Hillis of Corinth, Miss.; two special friends and caregivers, Bruce Zemmer and Betty Zemmer, both of Cleveland, Ohio; numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and other relatives.

Those who welcomed him to heaven were his father, Harve Stricklin and mother, Annie Bell Wilkerson Stricklin, stepmother, Mary Roach Stricklin; two brothers, Hardin Stricklin and Tennie Allen Stricklin; one sister, Lela Naomi Stricklin Davis.
