Michael Roberts

Michael Roberts, 43, of Counce, died Thursday, May 16, in Counce.

He was born in Corinth, Miss., the son of Donny L. and Sue Johnson Roberts.

Mr. Roberts was a heavy equipment operator for Jones Heavy Salvage. He also had worked for Tennessee River Wood and Land, Johnson Construction and Smith Construction. Michael was a member of Counce First Baptist Church.

Services were held on Saturday, May 18, at Counce First Baptist Church in Counce with Keith Driskell, Paul Childers officiating. Burial followed in the Center Hill Cemetery at Counce.

He is survived by his daughters, Ivy Catherine Roberts and Ileah Aubrey Roberts, both of Counce; his parents, Donny L and Sue Roberts of Counce; two brothers, Nicky L. and Jason Roberts, both of Counce.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Leslie and Eunice Johnson and Luther (Peanut) and Dora Roberts.
