Daisy Goodman

Daisy B. Goodman, 85, of Savannah, died Thursday, May 16, in Savannah.

She was born in Hardin County, the daughter of the late Kenedy and Daisy Counce Brewington. She was united in marriage to Roy Edison Goodman, who preceded her in death.

Mrs. Goodman worked for Brown Shoe Company for 42 years. She was a member of Grace Pentecostal Church and was a member of the Savannah Eastern Star.

Services were held on Saturday, May 18, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Markus Smith officiating. Burial followed in the Mt. Hermon Cemetery at Hardin County.

In addition to her parents and her husband, Mrs. Goodman was preceded in death by one sister, Louise Burnes; one brother, Keneth Brewington; and two uncles, Duck Brewington and Elmer Brewington, who raised her as a daughter.
