James Timothy "Tim" Lambert was born in Glen, Miss., on May 26, 1946, the son of the late Luther Odell and Louise Lambert.

Mr. Lambert was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church in Savannah. He loved old cars and was a classic car enthusiast.

He departed this life on Friday, May 10, in Nashville, at the age of 66 years, 11 months and 14 days.

On July 22, 1989, he was united in marriage to Sue Southerland, who survives.

In addition to his wife, Sue of Savannah, he is survived by his children, Kimberly Lambert Gardner and her husband Dennis of Cordova, Tenn., Tim Kendrick and his wife Christa of Murfreesboro, Tenn., Chris Lambert and his wife Jan of Jackson, Tenn., Angie DeShazier and her husband Ronnie of Savannah and Lewis Lambert of Savannah; six grandchildren, Katie Lambert, Eli Lambert, Ethan Kendrick, Emma Kendrick, Alli DeShazier and Macy DeShazier; one half sister, Eldoris Struder of Jackson, Tenn.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one sister, Rosie Jones; and one brother, Danny Lambert.

Services were held on Monday, May 13, at 3 p.m. at Hopewell Baptist Church in Savannah with Randy Isbell, Gil Parrish, Derek Westmoreland and Paul Weaver officiating. Burial followed in the Memory Gardens at Savannah.
