Jack Ray Benson
Jack Ray Benson, 76, of Sardis, died Sunday, May 5.
He was born in Olive Hill, the son of the late Buford John and Oren Elizabeth Willis Benson. He was united in marriage to Gail Davis, who survives.
Mr. Benson was a farmer all of his life.
Services were held on Wednesday, May 8, at Sardis United Methodist Church with Charles Emory Fitts officiating. Burial followed in the Sardis Cemetery at Sardis.
In addition to his wife, Gail of Sardis, he is survived by his children, Anthony Ray Benson of Sardis, Deanna Benson Kennedy of Sardis and Dixie Benson Creasey of Parsons, Tenn.; six grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Tom and Hattie Benson and John and Dora Willis.
