Paul Raymond Kiihnl, 88, of Savannah, died Monday, April 22, at the Hardin Medical Center Health and Rehabilitation Center in Savannah.

He was born in Tallahatchie County, Miss., to the late Clarence W. and Amy Susie Hall Kiihnl. He was united in marriage to Mabel Nix, who preceded him in death.

Services were held on Thursday, April 25, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Jim Chamblee officiating. Burial followed in the Morris Chapel Cemetery.

Mr. Kiihnl was employed by Grinnell Corporation as an engineer for 30 years. He also owned his own fire sprinkler installation company and was an inspector and consultant for other companies, as well. He was a member of Savannah Church of Christ in Savannah. He repaired bicycles and gave them to needy children.

He is survived by many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his wife, Mabel Kiihnl and parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Alene Kiihnl; and brothers, Clarence Kiihnl Jr., Irvin and Joseph Lee Kiihnl.
