Ruth Alta Oster Jackman, 93, of Savannah, died Saturday, April 20, in Savannah.
She was born in Cleveland, Ohio, the daughter of the late Roy and Loretta Wagner Oster. She was united in marriage to Joseph Cole Jackman, who preceded her in death.
Mrs. Jackman was a sales lady for Belk department store. She was a member of Providence Presbyterian Church.
No services were held.
Mrs. Jackman is survived by her children, Wayne Weber of Bath Springs, Tenn., and James Oster Jackman of Woodbridge, Va.; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; one brother, Robert Oster of Rocky River, Ohio.
She was also preceded in death by one brother, John Oster.
