Odie Franks, 68, of Savannah, died Wednesday, April 17, in Jackson, Tenn.
He was born in Hardin County, the son of the late Carl and Annie Marie Wilkerson Franks.
Mr. Franks worked as a truck driver for the Hardin County Highway Department for 30 years.
Services were held on Saturday, April 20, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Bobby Pickett officiating. Burial followed in the Mount Hermon Cemetery at Hardin County.
He is survived by his daughter, Brenda Franks of Savannah; and his son, Jeremy Franks of Savannah; eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; one sister, Barbara Shubert of Savannah; three brothers, Bob Franks of Savannah, Bill Franks of Adamsville and Joe Franks of Mishawaka, Ind.
He was also preceded in death by one son, Odie Aaron Franks; and one brother, Tommy Jack Franks.
