James Stricklin

James Thomas Stricklin, 71, of Waynesboro, died Sunday, April 7, in Savannah.

He was born in Clifton, the son of the late Earnest Frank and Ora Devers Stricklin. He was united in marriage to Caroline Davis, who survives.

Mr. Stricklin worked in accounting for Preston Carroll Construction Company. He served his country in the National Guard for six years. He attended Clifton Church of Christ.

Services were held on Tuesday, April 9, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Chad Balentine, Shane Riley officiating. Burial followed in the Clifton Cemetery at Clifton.

In addition to his wife, Caroline of Waynesboro, he is survived by his children, Lisa Stricklin of Ripley, Tenn., Frank Stricklin of Waynesboro and Craig Stricklin of Savannah.

He was also preceded in death by one sister, Helen Stricklin DeBerry.
