Gina Brynn Dennis departed this life on Monday, March 25, at the age of 30 years, 10 months, 25 days.

She was born in Florence, Ala., on April 30, 1982, the daughter of Michael Vance and Barbara Dianne Wolfe Dennis.

Gina was a graduate of Hardin County High School class of 2000, where she was involved in the band, 4-H, Tiger Broadcasting, as well as other clubs. She was a 2005 graduate of the University of Tennessee with a degree in psychology. She worked as a children’s case manager at Timber Hills in Iuka, Miss., and part time at AD Service in Savannah. She was a member of Mount Herman Baptist Church where she was an active participant in all youth activities. Gina was also active in the music program while attending Union University. Gina was adamant about music. She played the trumpet and guitar, and was a singer as well as a songwriter. She also had an interest in photography. She loved outdoor activities such as fishing, boating, or just experiencing nature in general. She considered her biggest accomplishment to be her son Woodson Ian Walls. They enjoyed swimming, hiking, ATV riding, and going to the park.

In addition to her parents and son, she is survived by her brothers, Vance Walker Dennis and wife Ashley, Lane Franklin Dennis and wife Beth, all of Savannah; grandparents, Billy and Dorothy Wolfe; and Uncle Rick and Mike of Savannah; nephews, Walker and William Dennis; niece, Anna Lane Dennis; a host of Dennis family aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Edd and Swannie Dennis.

Services were held on Friday, March 29, at 11 a.m. at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Artie Rivers, Clay Elliott officiating. Burial followed in the Mt. Hermon Cemetery at Hardin County.
