Robert Edward Hairfield, 69, of Savannah, died Monday, March 18.
He was born in Richmond, Va., to the late Robert Edward Earl and Julia Norton Hairfield. He was united in marriage to Dorothy Virgina Roberts, who survives.
Mr. Hairfield worked all of his life as a truck driver.
Services will be held on Saturday, March 23, at 1 p.m., at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Marvin Norris officiating.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Roberts; one daughter, Julia M. Benson; three sons, Robert T., Sam W. and Daniel W. Hairfield, all of Savannah; and one sister, Mildred Ann Liles of Hamlet, N.C.; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
