Evelyn Phillips

Evelyn Phillips, 89, of Savannah, died Thursday, March 14, in Savannah.

She was born in Hardin County, daughter of the late John and Lila Plunk.

Ms. Phillips was a retired waitress.

Memorial services were held on Sunday, March 17, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with David Coy officiating.

She is survived by two sons, Glen Phillips of Savannah and Jim Phillips of Clarksville, Tenn.; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Magdelene Michael of Los Angeles, Calif.

She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Wanda Stewart.
