Donna Laverne Smith, 70, of Savannah, died Monday, March 4.
She was born in Tulsa, Okla., daughter of the late Olgie Treece and Helen Reed Rhodes Brooks. She was united in marriage to Stanley R. Smith, who survives.
Mrs. Smith worked as a bookkeeper/secretary for Smith’s Petroleum Marketing Company in West Plains, Mo. She was a member of Pickwick United Methodist Church in Counce.
No services were held.
In addition to her husband, Stanley R. Smith of Savannah, she is survived by a daughter, Sonia Lynete Wheat of Sparta, Mo.; a son, Stanley Kirk Smith of Iuka, Miss.; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a sister, Coleen Weaver of Lawrence, Kan.
