Goldie Michael

Goldie Michael, 96, of Savannah, died on Tuesday, Feb. 26.

She was born in Alabama, the daughter of the late David and Nora Fielder Michael.

Mrs. Michael had worked as a nurse’s aide and was a member of Primitive Baptist Church in Savannah.

Services were held on Friday, March 1, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Gene Gist officiating. Burial followed in the Fielder Cemetery at Hardin County.

She is survived by stepsons, Gordon Michael and T. L.. Michael; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Wiley Michael; sister, Rosie Young; brothers, Floyd, Marvin and Doyle Michael; stepdaughter, Alene Kelly; and stepsons, Mansel Michael and Norman Michael.
