Timothy Joe Ellis, 48, of Counce, died on Friday, Feb. 22, at the age of 48 years and 25 days.
He was born in Memphis, the son of Lucy Smith and the late Jerry Joe Ellis. Timothy was a resident of Counce and a truck driver for Tommy Smith Trucking Company.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, Feb. 26, at the White Sulphur Cemetery in Pickwick Dam with Chance Steen officiating.
He is survived by his mother, Lucy Smith of Pickwick Dam; sisters, Tammy Jeanette of Collierville, Tenn., and Jana Talley of Savannah; brother, John Christopher Wilbanks of Counce; nieces and nephew; great-niece and great-nephew.
He was also preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Neal Ellis.
