Ima Jewel Pearson McCombs, 81, died on Friday, Feb. 1.
She was born in Enville, the daughter of the late Walter Columbus and Vassie Leroa Birmingham Pearson.
Mrs. McCombs was a member of First Baptist Church in Savannah.
Services were held on Sunday, Feb. 3, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Eric Jones officiating. Burial followed in the Milledgeville Cemetery.
She is survived by her children, Lynda Milford of Selmer, Sherry Finley of Adamsville, Tina Sharp of Savannah, Ronnie McCombs of Enville, Danny McCombs of Sardis, Tenn.; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; brother, R.D. Pearson of Stantonville, Tenn.; sister, Sue Whitten of Bethel Springs.
She was also preceded in death by a granddaughter; brothers, Ray and Truman Pearson; sisters, Velma Hart, Thelma Hanna and Nell Keen.
