Linda Tyler

Linda Tyler, of Adamsville, departed this life on Friday, Jan. 11, at the age of 73 years, 5 months, 5 days.

She was born in Hardin County, on Aug. 6, 1939, the daughter of the late Paul Clifford and Alma Elizabeth Strawn Tyler. Linda had lived for a short time in Memphis, but had lived most of her life in Hardin County. She had been a manager for Auto-Zone and a member of Crump Methodist Church in Crump. She loved animals, nature and all sports.

Linda is survived by a sister, Butonne Scott of Crump; brothers, Lowell Tyler and Arnold Tyler and wife Evelyn, all of Crump; nephews, Benjie Tyler and wife Cindy of Savannah, and Merle Jolley of East Peoria, Ill.; niece, Carla Cromwell and husband Larry of Savannah; great niece, Crystal Cromwell of Savannah; great nephew, Jake Tyler of Savannah.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Paul C. and Carl W. Tyler.

Services were held on Monday, Jan. 14, at 1 p.m., at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Steve Webb officiating. Burial followed in the Crump Cemetery at Crump, Tenn.
