Dean Combs, 87, of Savannah, died Wednesday, Jan. 9.
She was born in Central Heights, Ala., to the late Willie D. and Ola D. Hodges Morris. She married James Riley Combs, who preceded her in death.
Mrs. Dean retired as an inspector from Angelica and was a member of Olivet Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Services were held on Friday, Jan. 11, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Duwayne Pounds officiating. Burial followed in the Lutts Cemetery at Lutts, Tenn.
She is survived by two sons, Don Combs of Fayetteville, Tenn., and Gary Combs of Savannah; five grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Raymond, Reeder and Doyle Morris; and one sister, Marie Daniels.
