Barry Wilbanks

Barry Wilbanks, 51, of Olive Hill, died Saturday, Jan. 12.

He was born in Oklahoma City, Okla., the son of Thomas and Norma Unsell Wilbanks. He was united in marriage to Penny Sanders, who survives.

Barry was the owner and operator of Wilbanks’ Electric Motor Service.

Services were held on Wednesday, Jan. 16, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Mike Sanders officiating. Burial followed in the Memory Gardens at Savannah.

In addition to his wife Penny of Olive Hill, he is survived by his children, Hayley Rogers of Florence, Ala., and Emma Beth Wilbanks of Olive Hill, one stepdaughter, Kristan Hadley of Olive Hill, and one stepson, Colton Stewart of Jackson, Tenn.; his parents, Thomas and Norma Wilbanks of Savannah; two brothers, Mike Wilbanks of Hendersonville, Tenn., and Steve Wilbanks of Savannah.
