Roy David Green, 63, of Selmer, died Wednesday, Jan. 2, in Jackson, Tenn.
He was born in Coco Sola, Panama, the son of the late Monte and Flossie Flatt Green.
Mr. Green was a carpenter working in residential construction. He served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam Conflict.
Graveside services were held on Saturday, Jan. 5, at the Mt. Vinson Cemetery in Stantonville, Tenn., with Jetta Forsythe officiating.
He is survived by two sons, David Allen Green of Council Bluffs, Iowa, and Phillip Green of Lexington, Tenn.; four grandchildren; three sisters, Connie Mitchell of Louisiana, Barbara Fredenburg of Omaha, Neb., Joyce Milledge of Omaha, Neb.; and a brother, Steve Green of Council Bluffs, Iowa.
