John Replogle

John Wayne Replogle, 71, of Savannah, died Thursday, Dec. 20.

He was born in McNairy County, the son of the late Bedford and Pearlie Mae Spencer Replogle. He was united in marriage to Barbara Wilkerson, who survives.

Mr. Replogle was a member of First Baptist Church in Bethel Springs, Tenn., and was employed with Savannah Utility Department for 13 years. He served in the U.S. Army, where he received a good conduct medal.

Services were held on Thursday, Dec. 27, at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Savannah in Savannah with Scott Foster officiating. Burial followed in the Savannah Cemetery at Savannah.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Replogle of Savannah; son, Christopher Wayne Replogle of Selmer; daughter, Julie Ann Replogle of Savannah; one granddaughter; sister, Peggy Freeman of Humboldt, Tenn.; brothers, twin brother Ernest Replogle and Joe Replogle both of Bethel Springs.

He was also preceded in death by a son, Shane Allen Replogle; brothers, Robert, B.B., Kenneth, and Guy Mac Replogle.
