Gary Parsons
Gary Parsons, 58, of Michie, died on Saturday, Dec. 22.
He was born in Corinth, Miss., on Feb. 22, 1954, the son Sidney Mae and the late Arlon Eugene Parsons.
Mr. Parsons was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Services were held on Monday, Dec. 24, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Steve Neilson officiating. Burial followed in the Fairview Cemetery at Iuka, Miss.
He is survived by his son, Dakota Parsons of Selmer; two grandchildren; mother, Sidney Mae Feazel Parsons Brents and husband Paul Brents of Iuka, Miss.; sisters, Shelia Moore of Counce and Sherry Briley of Savannah; brothers, Tom, Barry and Johnny Parsons, all of Savannah.
