Chrystell Williams

Chrystell Williams, 89, of Savannah, died on Sunday, Dec. 23.

She was born in Lutts, daughter of the late Washington LaFayette and Mabel Etta Abrams Parker. She was united in marriage to Clarence Granville Williams who preceded her in death.

Mrs. Williams was a member of Savannah Church of Christ. She was a homemaker who loved working in her yard. She won Yard of the Month numerous times.

Services were held on Wednesday, Dec. 26, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Howard Rogers officiating. Burial followed in the Memory Gardens at Savannah.

Mrs. Williams is survived by two daughters, Jean Hissong of Memphis and Jane Riddell of Savannah; two grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; and a sister, Bettye Beckham of Savannah.

She was also preceded in death by a son, Danny Williams; a grandson; four sisters, Gail Franks, Maxine Lee, Vernice Conner and Estoyle Bevis; and three brothers, Lloyd, Ottie and Jimmy Parker.
