Opal Ethridge Opal Wallace Ethridge, 96, of Reagan, Tenn., died Friday, Dec. 14. She was born in Henderson County, daughter of the late Thomas and Lucy Davis Wallace. She was a homemaker and a foster parent for 54 children. Services were held Sunday, Dec. 16, in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home in Scotts Hill with Kenneth Price and Harlan Bingham officiating. Burial followed in Ethridge Family Cemetery in Reagan. She is survived by her son, Gerald Ethridge of Reagan; two daughters, Martha Turnbow of Saltillo and Darlene Carlson of Reagan, two foster children, Randy Jordan and Betty Kiddy, six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ruel W. Ethridge.
