Earlene Phillips (11-16-12) service 11-19-12

Earlene Phillips, 80, of Arkansas, formerly of Savannah, died Friday, Nov. 16.

She was born in Nashville, Tennessee to the late Lewis Walker and Letha Emiline Faulkner Shepard. She married Willie Eugene "Gene" Phillips, who preceded her in death.

Mrs. Phillips retired from Cross Country Apparel, where she worked as a machine operator. She was a member of Robertson Chapel United Methodist Church.

Services were held on Monday, Nov. 19, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Jason Estes officiating. Burial followed in the Mt. Hermon Cemetery at Hardin County.

She is survived by five daughters, Barbara Cameron of LaVergne, Tenn., Teresa Baker of Pocahontas, Ark., Shelia Turnbow of Crump, Caroline White of Savannah and Diane Holcombe of Waterloo, Ala.; eight grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
