J.D. Harville

J.D. Harville was born in Orange County, Fla., on Oct. 1, 1955, the son of Ruie Brown Harville and the late Jimmy William Harville.

J.D. served his country in the United States Army. He lived in the Florida area for 37 years and in Hardin County for 20 plus years. J.D. was a truck driver for Bear Trucking Company. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, quail hunting, woodworking, carpentry and doing electrical work.

J.D. departed this life on Thursday, Nov. 8, in Savannah, at the age of 57 years, 1 month and 7 days.

He is survived by his fiancée Angela Byrd Harville of Olive Hill; his mother, Ruie Brown Harville of Olive Hill; one sister, Debbie Harville Drake of Pasley, Fla.; and three brothers, Bobby Harville and his wife Lawana of Decatur, Ala., Billy Harville of Pasley, Fla., and Ricky Harville and his wife Rebecca of Olive Hill; a special niece, Emily Harville; three nephews, Marty, Greg and Guy; and two nieces, Lisa and Mindy.

In addition to his father, J.D. was also preceded in death by one son, Keith Harville.

Services were held on Monday, Nov. 12, at 1 p.m., at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Kyle Wishhurt, L.V. Brown officiating. Burial followed in the Lutts Cemetery at Lutts, Tenn.
