Eddie Waldrop Eddie Howard Waldrop, of Savannah, was born Jan. 9, 1959, in Selmer, the son of Howard Waldrop and the late Doris Jean Davidson Waldrop. Eddie departed this life on Saturday, Oct. 27, in Pocahontas, Tenn., at the age of 53 years, 9 months, 18 days. He was a member of Northside Baptist Church in Savannah. He loved drawing and hunting. Services were held on Sunday, Oct. 28, at 3 p.m., at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Selmer, with Jason Martindale officiating. Burial followed in the McCalips Chapel Cemetery. He is survived by a daughter, Tara Ann Waldrop of Selmer; his father, Howard Waldrop and step mother Susan Waldrop of Jackson, Tenn.; two nephews; and a host of extended family and friends. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Billy Joe Waldrop.
