Jewel Holt Perry, 88, of Adamsville, died Sunday, Oct. 21.
She was born in Wayne County, Tenn., the daughter of the late Wallace and Clemmie Holt. She was united in marriage to Loyce Perry who preceded her in death.
Mrs. Perry was a seamstress for Angelica and Collinwood Manufacturing Company. She was a member of the Gillis Mills community and Abrams Chapel Methodist Church.
Services were held on Tuesday, Oct. 23, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Van Vansandt officiating. Burial followed in the Mars Hill Cemetery at Adamsville.
She is survived by a daughter, Annie Sue Norwood of Adamsville; one grandchild, two great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a granddaughter; sisters, Willie Dodd, Ann McFall, Ethel Patterson and Bessie Fisher; brothers, Wayne and Lee Holt.
