Sherri Sanders Sherri W. Sanders, 70, of Savannah, died Monday, Oct. 1, at Hardin Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late Erwin Warren and Hazel Warren Savage. Ms. Sanders was born on Aug. 19, 1942, in Linden, Tenn. She attended the First Baptist Church and was a member of the Writers Guild. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Denis Sanders and brother Reed Warren. She is survived by three sons, David Shirley of Savannah, Greg Shirley (Mary Beth) of Cookeville, Tenn. and Dale Shirley (Rhonda) of Adamsville; one brother, Boyd Warren; one aunt, Madelyn Shelton and seven grandchildren. A memorial service was held Thursday, Oct. 4, at the McDonald Funeral Home Chapel with Bobby Pickens officiating.
