Evon Brown

Evon Mitchell Brown, 81, of Savannah, died Thursday, Sept. 27, in Jackson, Tenn.

She was born in Hardin County, the daughter of the late Jim and Teenie Franks Mitchell. She was united in marriage to Randal Edward Brown, who preceded her in death.

Mrs. Brown was a homemaker.

Services were held on Sunday, Sept. 30, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Bobby Pickens, Mike Howard officiating. Burial followed in the Memory Gardens at Savannah.

She is survived by one daughter, Cathy Robinson of Savannah; three grandchildren; one brother, Brown Mitchell of Savannah; and many nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Karen Brown; four sisters; and five brothers.
