Doug Price Doug James Price, 50, of Leesburg, Fla., formerly of Sardis, died Friday, Sept. 7. He was born in Chicago, Ill., the son of Ruth Hanes Price and the late Harold J. Price. Mr. Price had served in the U.S. Navy and was self-employed as a carpenter, and enjoyed building and repairing wood of all types. He also enjoyed working for charities for children. No services were held. In addition to his mother, Ruth Price, he is survived by his son Derek Price of Galesburg, Ill.; daughter, Cora Price of Indianapolis, Ind.; and a grandson.
