Ricky Moffett (8-29-12) service 9-1-12

Ricky Dale Moffett, 54, of Counce, died Wednesday, Aug. 29.

Ricky was born in Portageville, Mo., the son of the late Herbert Dee and Jessie Marie Killingsworth Moffett.

Mr. Moffett was a car salesman for Jones Motor Company since 1990 and had won the top salesman award many times.

Services were held on Saturday, Sept. 1, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Roger Jenkins, Larry Williams, Ray Ritenour officiating. Burial followed in the White Sulphur Cemetery at Pickwick Dam.

Ricky is survived by his companion of 28 years, Charlotte Adams of Counce; brothers, Keith, Jackie and Jerry Moffett, all of Adamsville; sister, Diane Fisher of Counce; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Vickie Christopher.
