Ralph Dyer Ralph Eugene Dyer, 85, of Dora, Ala., died on Wednesday, Aug. 22. He was born in Parrish, Ala., the son of the late Lester Dyer. He was united to Alice Faye Ivey, who survives. Mr. Dyer had served honorably in both the United States Army and Navy. He had worked in maintenance at LTV Steel in Chicago, Ill. Services were held on Saturday, Aug. 25, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Allen Guyer officiating. Burial followed in the Memory Gardens at Savannah. In addition to his wife, Alice Faye Dyer of Savannah; he is survived by his brothers, James Dyer of Mississippi and Wendell Dyer of Boldo, Ala.; step-sons, Steve Henke of Medaryville, Ind.and Dave Henke of Crown Pointe, Ind.; four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren.
