Debbie Durham Debbie Joyce Alexander Durham, 53, of Counce, died Sunday, Aug. 19. She was born in Savannah, the daughter of the late Thomas Gerald Alexander and Betty Wilson Christopher. She was united in marriage to John L. Durham of Counce, who survives. She had worked for PCA as a nurse. Services were held on Thursday, Aug. 23, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Gilbert Gough officiating. Burial followed in the Adamsville Cemetery. In addition to her husband, John L., she is survived by a daughter, Jenny Springer Grisham of Adamsville; stepson, Scott Durham of Granbury, Texas; six grandchildren; brother, Dale Alexander of Adamsville; sisters, Kaye Williams of Tupelo, Miss., and Tammy Pettigrew of Savannah. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Tommy Alexander.
