Patricia Blakely (8-20-12) service 8-22-12

Patricia Gayle Blakely was born Sept. 6, 1952, in Selmer, the daughter of Willie Burlene Pickens Hollingsworth and the late Harold J. Hollingsworth.

Ms. Blakely was a cook at several local restaurants in the Adamsville area. She was a loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and friend. She enjoyed cooking for her family as well as others, working in her flower gardens, and traveling. She always had a smile for strangers and friends. She was a member of the Good Hope Baptist Church in Adamsville.

Ms. Blakely departed this life on Monday, Aug. 20, in Adamsville, at the age of 59 years, 11 months, 14 days.

She is survived by her mother, Burlene Hollingsworth of Adamsville; companion, Sammie Maness of Adamsville; two sons, Chris Blakely of Adamsville, Chad Blakely and wife Daphne of Adamsville; two grandchildren, Dakota and Angelina Blakely of Adamsville; a brother, Danny Hollingsworth and wife Tammy of Adamsville; niece, Holly Hollingsworth of Adamsville; two nephews, Wesley and Harley Hollingsworth, both of Adamsville; host of extended family and friends.

Services were held on Wednesday, Aug. 22, at 1 p.m., at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Adamsville in Adamsville with Phil Mitchell officiating. Burial followed in the Adamsville Cemetery at Adamsville.
