Joyce M. Powell Stanton, 71, of Counce, died Monday, July 30.
She spent many years doing flea markets. She was a member of United Methodist Church at Pickwick.
She is survived by five children, Carol Perkins of Adamsville, Dolores Bakken of Decatur, Mich., Sheila Meyer of Georgia, Eva Palmer of Benton Harbor, Mich., son, Randall Lee Stanton of Port Wentworth, Ga., a sister, Patsy Warren of Savannah; two brothers, Turner and Frankie Powell of White Pigeon, Mich.; two nephews like brothers, Ronnie Powell and Kenneth Goochee, nine grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Stanton; her parents, Turner and Hattie Powell; two brothers, Richiard and Donald Powell; two sisters, Wydell Haines and Irene Riley; and a granddaughter.
