Leonard Copeland Leonard Royal Copeland, 86, of Adamsville, died Monday, July 23, at the home of his daughter Carol. He was the son of the late William Alton and Mary Elizabeth Octavie Meek Copeland. He was united in marriage to Nina Pearl Learue Copeland, who preceded him in death. Mr. Copeland was a retired shipping manager for the former Automotive Fabric Specialists in Adamsville. He had also worked for Harwood Manufacturing of Adamsville. He was a member of Adamsville First Baptist Church. Services were held Wednesday, July 25, at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Adamsville with Phil Mitchell, Joshua Smith officiating. Burial was in Pine Hill Memorial Garden, Adamsville. He is survived by a son, Eddie Lynn Copeland of Adamsville; a daughter, Carol Ann Smith of Stantonville, Tenn.; a brother, William Elton Copeland of Adamsville; and three grandchildren. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, Adamsville.
