Brenda Beckham (7-21-12) service 7-24-12

Brenda Beckham, 62, of Savannah, died Saturday, July 21, at the Hardin Medical Center.

She was born in Hardin County, the daughter of the late Ted and Clarice Brown Ellis.

Brenda was a homemaker. She was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church.

Services were held on Tuesday, July 24, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Philip Meek officiating. Burial followed in the Savannah Cemetery.

She is survived by her children, Carolyn Murphy, Tina Finley, Stacey Strickland, Jimmy Allen Gray and Michael Beckham, all of Savannah, and Angela Gray of Finger, Tenn.; nine grandchildren, one great-grandchild; one sister, Mary Hellen Franks of Savannah; and one brother, Brandon Maxedon.

She was also preceded in death by her former husbands, Jimmy H. Kelley and Jimmy Gray; one brother, Joe Ellis; two sisters, Kathy Parson and Mary Katherine (Shug) Ellis; and her grandparents, Nan Brown and Ed Brown.
