Betty Holloway-Warren

Betty Holloway-Warren was born in Chester County, Tenn., on Sept. 18, 1937, the daughter of the late William Ollie and Lily Edith Meek Stanfill.

On May 4, 1957, she was united in marriage to Bob Holloway who preceded his wife in death on May 7, 1983. On June 3, 1994, Betty was united in marriage to Ned Warren, who preceded her in death on Aug. 16, 1996.

Betty retired from Ripley Industries. She was a member of Crump United Methodist Church, where she played the piano for 33 years. Betty was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and she loved her family more than anything.

She departed this life on Tuesday, July 17, in Morris Chapel, at the age of 74 years, 9 months and 29 days.

Betty is survived by two daughters, Beverly Evans and her husband Don of Morris Chapel, and Pamela Holloway of Rogersville, Ala.; four grandchildren, Scott Evans, Josh Evans, Clay Holloway and Quade Holloway; five great-grandchildren, Mari Anne Evans, Alayna Evans, Eli Davidson, Shelby Davidson and Lane Sweat; one great-great-grandchild, Jase Flowers.

Betty was also preceded in death by three brothers, Charles, Jimmy and Tommy Stanfill; and her grandparents, Henry and Eliza Stanfill, Otis Meek and Lily Bassell Meek.

Memorial Services were held on Sunday, July 22, at 2 p.m., at Crump United Methodist Church in Crump with Steve Webb officiating.
