Lonnie Miller Lonnie J. Miller, 64, of Savannah, died Monday, July 2. He was born in Hardin County, the son of the late Watt and Marie Melson Miller. Mr. Miller was self-employed and worked trimming trees. He was a member of Church on the Rock Fellowship in Savannah. Services were held on Thursday, July 5, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Larry Rich, Otis Henson officiating. Burial followed in the Wesley’s Chapel Church Cemetery at Savannah. He is survived by one son, Travis Junior Miller Petty of Counce; three sisters, Joan Ayers of Savannah, Rosie Gray of Adamsville, Diane Bays of Charleston, S.C.; one brother, Arthur Miller of Savannah; two grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by three brothers, Jerry, Earl and Alton Miller; one infant sister.
