Katherine LaKatos Katherine "Sis" LaKatos, 80, of Morris Chapel, died Thursday, June 21. She was born in Camden, Tenn., the daughter of the late Doffie Hufford Davis and Beatrice Arnold Bray. She was united in marriage to Joseph LaKatos Jr., who preceded her in death. Mrs. LaKatos worked for Whitington Trucking Company in Memphis. She was a member of the Nixon First Pentecostal Church. Services were held on Sunday, June 24, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with John Robinson officiating. Burial followed in the Chalk Hill Cemetery at Camden, Tenn. She is survived by one son, Joseph "Rocky" LaKatos of Morris Chapel; two daughters, Cynthia "Cindy" Harper of Walls, Miss., and Laura Jean Nennstiel of Brook Park, Ohio; one sister, Jean Whitington of Memphis; three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and eight great-great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Doris Lunette Wheatly; one brother, Paul Davis; one sister, Rebecca Ann Davis.
