Floyd Johnson Sr. (6-14-12)
Floyd Johnson Sr. Floyd Linn Johnson Sr., 74, of Lutts, died Thursday, June 14, in Columbia, Tenn. He was born in Lutts, the son of the late Paul Langsford and Thelma Petty Johnson. He was united in marriage to Marjorie Brown, who survives. Floyd was a United States Army Veteran. He was a self-employed farmer. He had also worked as a mechanic in oil fields, a logger and fruit picker. No services were held. In addition to his wife, Marjorie of Lutts, he is survived by his children, Floyd Linn Johnson Jr. of Savannah, Wesley Johnson of Lutts, Travis Ray Johnson of Waterloo, Ala., Johnny Johnson of Cloverdale, Ala., Dennis Edward Johnson of Waterloo, Ala., Cynthia Marie Hicks of Kansas City, Kan., Rebecca Sue Fielder of Florence, Ala., Bobby Glen Johnson of Russellville, Ala. and Bobby Russell of Lutts; 18 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; and one brother, Gene Johnson of Florence, Ala. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Melvin, Junior and James Johnson; and one sister, Betty Cossey.
