Sue Roberts (5-4-12) service 5-6-12

Sue Benson Roberts, 66, of Savannah, died Friday, May 4.

She was born in Hardin County, the daughter of the late Ollie Arlin and Agnes Highland Benson.

Ms. Roberts had lived in Elkhart, Ind., for 12 years and Hardin County for the rest of her life. She was a member of Shepard’s Chapel Church and enjoyed watching their services on TV.

Services were held on Sunday, May 6, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Mike Henias officiating. Burial followed in the Memory Gardens at Savannah.

She is survived by her daughters, Tenia Lafevers Odle and Bonnie Lafevers Jones of Savannah; a son, Jessie E. Robbins of Goshen, Ind.; six grandchildren, five great grandchildren; a sister, Brenda G. Benson; three brothers, Calvin, James "Juker", and Billy Ray Benson; and former husband, Darrell Roberts of Savannah.

She was also preceded in death by a brother, J.C. Benson; and a sister, Alma Benson.
