Jimmie Nelle Brown (4-27-12) service 4-29-12

Jimmie Nelle Brown, Waynesboro, was born Oct. 3, 1939, in Wayne County, the daughter of the late James Barney (Bob) and Jimmie Corene Lineberry Pulley.

She married Jerry Glenn Brown on Oct. 9, 1963, and he died on Jan. 9, 2005.

Mrs. Brown was a homemaker and a member of the Memorial Baptist Church.

She departed this life on Friday, April 27, at Wayne Medical Center in Waynesboro, at the age of 72 years, 6 months, 24 days.

Survivors are: son, Randel Webb and wife, Peggy; grandchildren, Amber Griggs and husband, Byron, Jeremy Skipworth and wife, Leah, and Ryan Webb; great-grandchildren, Kelli Griggs, Jake Skipworth, Ty Skipworth; a sister, Neva Brown and husband, W.J., all of Waynesboro; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by an infant niece, Adele Hope Brown.

Services were Sunday, April 29, at 1:30 p.m., at Shackelford Funeral Directors Chapel, Waynesboro, with Donnie Overton and Steven Turnbow officiating. Burial was in Mt. Hebron Cemetery, Wayne County, with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, directing.
