Patty Higginbottom

Patty Higginbottom was born in Henderson, Tenn., on June 1, 1945, the daughter of the late Joseph Patrick and Robbie Mae Duley Armour.

Patty was a homemaker and a member of the First United Methodist Church in Savannah. She attended Memphis State University and was a cheerleader. She attended Delta Airlines Flight School and was employed by Delta as a flight attendant. Patty, an avid Bridge player, was a member of the Wednesday Bridge Club, Methodist Bridge Club, and attained Life Master with ACBL. She dedicated her life to her family, friends, and Bridge.

Patty departed this life on Saturday, April 14.

She is survived by her husband, Bo Higginbottom of Savannah; a son, Robert Higginbottom II of Memphis,; three daughters, Courtney Williams of New York City, Leigh Houston (Kent) of Corinth, and Julie Cronise (Matt) of Savannah; two grandchildren, Andrew Higginbottom of Hattiesburg and Callie Anna Cronise of Savannah; a sister, Doris Armour White (Tom Weeks) of Henderson; two brothers, Bobby Armour (Doris) and Tim Armour (Patricia) all of Southaven; a sister-in-law, Lois Grissom of Henderson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Joe Armour.

Services were held on Wednesday, April 18, at 11 a.m., at First United Methodist Church in Savannah with Ron Brown officiating. Burial in Savannah Cemetery.
