David Shelby

David W. Shelby, 52, of Adamsville, died Tuesday, April 10.

He was born in Savannah, the son of the late Clinton and Jessie Kelley Shelby. He was united in marriage to Jayne Franks Shelby.

Services were held on April 13, 2012 at 3:00 PM at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah, Tennessee, with Paul Hook officiating. Burial followed in the Savannah Cemetery at Savannah, Tennessee

He is survived by his wife Jayne Franks Shelby, three sons David W. Shelby of Adamsville, Eric and Phillip Shelby, both of Savannah; two daughters Tish and Lindsey Shelby, both of Savannah; one brother Clinton D. Shelby Jr. of Adamsville; two sisters, Teresa D. Parks of Ripley, Miss.; Cynthia A. Blanton of Savannah; six grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by two sisters Angela and Rebecca Shelby, one brother J.B. Edwards and one grandchild.
